Grain Prices Mostly Lower Thursday, Maintaining Recent Ranges Ahead of
Friday's Stocks Report
December corn is down 1 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 7
1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 3 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 1/4
cent and December Minneapolis wheat is down 1 1/4 cents.

EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is down 1 1/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are down 7 1/2 cents, December KC wheat is down 3
cents, December Chicago wheat is up 1/4 cent and December Minneapolis wheat is
down 1 1/4 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are trading quietly mixed, similar to
Wednesday's trade where the Dow was lower but the S&P was slightly higher.
Wednesday saw interest rates continuing to push higher with the 10-year now
above 4.6%. Data this week has been mixed, with home prices, home sales, and
consumer confidence lower than expectations, but with durable goods orders
better than expected. Thursday morning, we get a GDP revision and most
importantly we will get comments from Fed Chairman Powell.
OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Wednesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial
Average down 68.61 at 33,550.27 and the S&P 500 up 0.98 at 4,274.51, The
10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.63%. Early Thursday, the December Dow Jones
Futures are up 13 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of
London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.26%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading
up 0.12% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.28%. Asian markets
are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 1.54% and China's Shanghai
Composite Index up 0.1%.
